“This was a friendly, well-maintained hotel with about 3-4 block walk to the main pedestrian area of Rudesheim. Parking was a breeze and the area was quiet. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. It was cheaper than others so well worth the easy walk. The breakfast was good and the flower boxes outside the hotel were gorgeous. We drove into town and easily took the car ferry to the other side of the Rhein for some small town visits.”
“Loved this gem of a place. We booked primarily due to price and location (we wanted to be within walking distance of downtown Ruesdesheim, as we were only stopping through for one night). Were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facilities, friendliness of the staff, excellent breakfast (with a waffle maker!!), and short walking distance to everything you'd want to do in town. We'll stay here again next time we're in town.”
“Beautiful little town. Very nice and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff and room was very large. We only stayed one night in October. It was a nice walking distance from town center and cable cart. Breakfast was very very good. Managed to make the waffle maker 'over flow' but other than that all good. We traveled by car and we had parking right in front of the hotel. From there we walked a few meters to the cable car where we bought a round ticket to go up with the cable car for panoramic views of countryside and river and to the monument Niederwalddenkmal. From the monument we did a light hike and ski lift back down to Assmannhausen. After a nice coffee we then completed the trip on boat back to Rudesheim. It was the perfect little round trip.”

“Excellent customer service: We received assistance parking our own rental car and the car of a visitor. The staff helped us with (very) late check-in. Breakfast was perfect, with all continental options plus fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and Frikadellen. Service at breakfast was also very attentive. On a side note: In my 30 years of visiting Germany, customer service has improved, and driving skill/safety has deteriorated (watch out on the road)!”

“This hotel is family own so whole family work there, the daughter Maike was very helpful and patience the whole 2 days we stayed. She gave us directions to places and recommend restaurants and POI to visit; she even moved her car to accommodate our SUV rental car (it was bigger than regular car so it was challenged to part in hotel provided parking space). All over the hotel is very safe, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is great lots of fresh food to pick from they even have waffle machine to make fresh waffle :)”
