“This hotel attached to a casino on the riverfront is 10 years old and remains in good shape. It has a fine location overlooking the river Parana. All rooms have views, and what a view (see pic). The hotel is directly adjacent to Parque Urquiza. Walkers and joggers run through the park and on the promenade along the river below the hotel. I had a corner suite, which was nicely appointed. The breakfast incuded in the room price is a very nice buffet, with meats, cheeses, toast, pastries and fruit, and beverages. The main floor cafe area is pleasant. The service was universally excellent, staff could not have been more solicitous and kind. I would cite it as remarkable except that it was consistent with my experience of Argentinians throughout my trip. Howard Johmson Mayorzaga offered everything I was looking for in a full-service higher end hotel. Parana and the Entre Rios region is well worth a visit. Make sure you arrange a boat tour of the river before you go.”
