“All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and great value considering it's an island. The rooms, restaurant and communal areas to relax are comfortable and beautiful, using lots of reclaimed wood washed up on the shores. Complimentray snorkelling equipment to hire and boat transfer to Gili Layar was great and not offered by lots of other places.”

It’s been built using local products much of which is driftwood, shells, old coral and looks like the kind of dream place you’d build if you had landed with nothing but a bit of ingenuity and love for the environment. The offshore coral snorkelling was out of this world.”

“I can not even tell you, that is the most beautiful place I have ever been! New built bungalows from wood out of sea. So nice, clean and brandnew. Each bungalow has a really fantastic view to the sea an other islands! Staff is really helpful and friendly. Dutch owner, who knows what to do! If is perfect to relax, do some snorkelling or just chill out. Restaurant is good to! Would recommend to a friend! Best place so far on my trips to Asia!”
“What a beautiful romantic place with the best sunset view I ever seen. Excellent cottages. Very clean. Excellent service. Make sure you bring cash money with u . So far not possible to pay with a credit card yet and not 1 single ATM machine on the island . It is still an unspoiled tropical Island”
“I can only but recommend Hula Hoop. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable and the views spectacular. Loved all the sitting places outside. Hammocks and furniture made out of old wooden boats. I also loved the snorkelling out front. I will come again for sure.”

“Viel Liebe zum Detail. Nachhaltigkeit wird hier groß geschrieben. Der Ausblick vom Bungalow ist jeden Cent wert. Sehr persönliches Flair mit einem wirklich netten Personal und einem Eigentümer der sogar auf Wunsch persönlich selbst Fisch zum Abendessen fängt. Sehr schöne Riffs zum Schnorcheln direkt vor der Haustür.”
