“Location is fabulous for walking around to explore Victoria's Inner Harbour. Staff were so helpful, in particular Harry at the front desk, getting us tea supplies, wine glasses, printing our boarding passes, lending us umbrellas, etc. Parking is reasonable and easy to use. Breakfast was tasty, one of the staff ensured that our breakfast was expedited so we could catch out flight home. They were great with restaurant recommendations.”
“The hotel is incredibly charming, with architecture like gingerbread houses. It could easily earn a perfect score if it would upgrade its woefully disappointing breakfasts. It offers three rigid choices, of industrial eggs, IHOP quality waffles and fake maple syrup (this is Canada, for goodness sake!), or yoghurt with hard-frozen berries. While the breakfast staff is superb, they cannot compensate for this midwestern motel quality food.”
