The room was pleasent and it was simply peaceful but modern, with that being said the bed was pretty amazing and comfortable.”

“I frequently stay in Ibis hotels because they are always a good value for money. However, this one is really outstanding. First of all, the room was very large, probably twice as much as typical size of Ibis rooms, actually appropriate for 4-star hotels. Ibis Barcelona Mataro is a new stylish hotel with a good breakfast, excellent personell, and in many aspects is in excess of its star category. Another advantage is that it is just 30 mins train travel from the Barcelona centre. And, finally, there is a large supermarket Mercadona in the next building. I would strongly recommend this hotel especially to those who would like to visit Barcelona but avoid highly overpriced accommodation typical for this city.”
“Loved to see the modern facilities from continental breakfast really fresh and delicious (including a variety of milk); The room was quiet and big for the most hotels I have been before. Parking facilities were great and secured. Internet was fast too! Was super surprised to learn this hotel was a 2 star only! I would say a 3 or even 4 star for modern presentation overall.”
“Very clean and big room. Breakfast looked nice but we are allergic to wheat and dairy products so its difficult to find food good for us anywhere. But there is a supermarket next door where you can find anything you like.”
