“The room was clean, and kept clean daily. The breakfast was lovely - a classic European style and they made fresh coffee upon request. The hotel had free bike hire which meant that the local town was in easy reach, and the beach was just 10 minutes away. The ferry port was just 10 minutes walk, along a well lit path. Getting into Venice or the surrounding Islands was a breeze. Ideal location for those wanting a combination of city and beach. The staff were super friendly - and we got by with our terrible Italian and high school French!”

“We were traveling with a large dog and although the rooms were quite small the staff made every effort to move furniture for us to accommodate our boy. They were exceptionally kind towards us and our dog. We would occasionally sit on the terrace whilst Wolf had a nap and we used the wifi. They didn't have to but they would offer us a coffee, no charge. We didn't use them but they had bikes that guests could use. The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the water buses so we were able to toilet our dog on our way there and back! The hotel has a great, big garden and ample, secure parking. If you're taking a dog to Venice we can't recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are small but comfortable and have a minibar which was useful.”

“Top Staff and owner! It was a real pleasure to chat. The hotel is located some 100 meters from the street, has vast on site parking, good kitchen, cosy dining room. Room we have reserved was the smallest of all but it was just fine (larger that we have expected). Very nice location - it is only 600m from the Punta Sabbioni pier where from 20 minutes boat trip to San Marco in Venice. It is also closer to Murano and Burano from there.”

“Charming hosts. Lovely hotel and surrounding. Huge parking space where you can leave your car in the shade. Super close to the ferry (40 min one way to Venice, ferries until just past midnight). Relatively close to a beautiful, free beach (really, the beach exceeded expectations, considering this side of the Adriatic). Good wifi. Great coffee for breakfast. I enjoy Venice a lot, but have always done a day trip while returning from elsewhere: during the day it is HOT and PACKED. But staying at ilGhebo allows you to enjoy a really great beach and Venice in the afternoon when it gets much cooler and more importantly with a fraction of the crowds as during the day.”
