They were very impressed with the place - thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice which they both agreed was fabulous. “Very friendly and hospitable staff. I was upgraded to a lovely room in the main house since the boiler for the courtyard rooms had died. The room was exquisite - incredibly comfortable massive bed, two tvs, wardrobe, couch and chairs, huge bathroom with bathtub that had super jets. I especially liked a long soak in the bath and relaxing sleep in the lush bed. The room was very well heated too. Free breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. I had the scrambled eggs and salmon on toast. It did get a bit noisy in the night but I just put on the ear plugs the hotel provided. Slept soundly after that.”
