“Amazingly helpful hosts, very comfy room with a great view of the mountains. Great breakfast! Not too far from the chair lift, approx 300 meters walk.”
“The best part of our stay was the very nice owner and staff he had. They were very kind and tried to help where they could. We almost left Nozawa Onsen the first night we arrived because there was absolutely no place to get food close by that wasn't booked up (the owner tried calling many places and it was during a festival time) and going farther was not an option in the bad weather with small kids. We were at our wits end until the owner offered to make us a spaghetti dinner in the hotel kitchen. This was very much appreciated. Our room with a great view of the mountains was very warm and cozy with great quality futon bedding. They have a free flat parking lot right next to the hotel on a hill, which is convenient because it didn't look like most small hotels offered parking at all. This hotel had a little onsen in the basement, which was a nice break after a day in the snow.”
“The owner of this hotel is extremely kind and helpful, he made our stay a pleasure.”
“Very authentic. Great value. Bit of a walk to town and lifts but otherwise good. Reasonably good facilities with its own little onsen, ski room etc breakfasts very authentic and thoughtful. Mr Kadiwaki is a very gracious host.”
“Fantastic owner, super friendly and helpful. The onsen was well maintained. Close to lovely local onsen as well. Great value for money.”
“Location was great. Wouldn't necessarily call it ski-in/ski-out but the kurasawa area is less than 5 minutes away with ski boots on. 15 minute walk to the center of town. Natural onsen as well. Owner was friendly”
“Typiquement japonais Repas japonais au petit djeuner Onsen dans le ryokan Personnel tres sympa et serviable”
