“This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Only stayed one night but could stay there forever. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Spent a good amount of time talking with the night porter, what a wealth of local information. The Pub has an authentic rustic feel and the food was delicious. Breakfast in the restaurant was also very good, and the restaurant offers incredible views. And the picturesque village of 39 residents is like going back in time. The hotel boasts being the oldest inn in Scotland, established in 1572, yet has all needed conveniences, including en suite bathrooms and even a lift. Stay here and explore all the Scottish Highlands has to offer. My favorite hotel of the six I stayed at on this trip. I plan to return.”

“Food was excellent - we ate dinner in the bar. It offers the same menu as the restaurant - but a more relaxed atmosphere we felt. Breakfast again was excellent. Rooms were clean. Staff polite.”
