“The rooms are tidy and well designed. Beds are quite comfortable although pillows are definitely not. The staff both at the reception and in the restaurant were helpful and nice. Sun beds in the pool area were also comfy and the view from the garden is spectacular. SPA is rather small but neatly designed and we particularly enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi. Restaurant is good although the choice of vegetarian dishes was too limited for our taste.”

“The location is perfect to visit Etna and towns like Syracuse, Taormina. The staff was extremly kind, helpful and professional. Facilities built up to high standards and with good taste. Food was varied and with lots of home-made items. Our kids (8 and 10) really enjoyed the garden!”

“Kepos is all about style, design, beauty and good food. 35 min to/from airport. All village restaurants in Santa Venerina are reachable by foot and offer great local food. 5 min drive to Baronne de Villagrande winery in Zafferana with vineyards enriched with minerals from Etna's lava. Fantastic whites. 15 min to the closest Etna volcano location (can spend 3-6 hours exploring Etna craters and past eruptions). 50 min to designer shopping in Agira. Kepos has a great sea-view pool, but the sea is a must. 20 min to the diverse breaches of Giardini Naxos and Taormina. Our kids preferred the city beaches in Giardini where all locals go. Perfect for snorkeling and good seafood lunch is always 50 meters away. Borrow our parasol (breach umbrella) at the Kepos reception. Please return the parasol to reception before departure. We plan on using it again.”

“Salvatores hidaway is the place to be in Sicily! It starts with a very warm welcome and offers all things you need when going on holiday. The room was large and nice, the pool was great and the only "bad thing" was the fact that we had to leave... “From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs throughout our stay. The hotel is rather small (15 rooms, we stayed 7 days in the royal suite), but that creates an atmosphere of relaxation where you "can get away from everything". For instance, the (infinity) pool has an outlook of the garden with all kinds of fruit trees and you can even see the ocean which provides a nice breeze while you stay in the sun. The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Breakfast is excellent (Annette is really great!) and as noted earlier, the pool is also great where you can get cocktails and other drinks and snacks. We didn't make use of the spa, so I can't comment on that. Only whished we stayed longer ;) Thanks for everything Salvatore and the team at Kepos.”
