Easy check-in despite it being after midnight, a delightful room (spotless and modern but elegant), good strong shower and silent! The decor throughout the hotel is smart Victoriana but without the heavy gothic overtones - it is thoroughly pleasant and light. Breakfast was served in the splendid Wordsworth room by friendly and attentive staff and was both delicious and varied.”
