Amenities (spa area, masseuse, bar and restaurant, depot to store skis, parking) were great and made the logistics of our weekend ski adventure a breeze. The hotel was a perfect mix of "classic" looking mountain rustic and modern slick, but the staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and at the bar more than anything made the experience pleasant and easy to navigate for English speakers in Austria for the first time.”

“We had hired a car from Munich, so don't know if the village is accessible by public transport. We really liked the breakfast and the reception staff who are very friendly. My room had a great view. They also let us use the room at no charge until we finally left at 4 o'clock. We've never been allowed to do that! There is a really big swimming pool and several saunas. If you don't go skiing in the day (I didn't) you have it all to yourself. The village is very small so there are very few tourists which I liked. My daughter and her boyfriend went to Alpbach by ski bus and were able to use a huge skiing area. You can walk to the local ski lift but they said the runs were limited.”
