“The room is very big and clean. Bed is comfy. We had a very nice sleep and rest. Dinner and breakfast were surprisingly nice. Dinner set was decent while breakfast provided good choices of quality food. Nice onsen too. Good value for money.”

“We stayed here three nights and used it as a base to visit Shiretoko NP. You could also use it to visit the Northern part of Akan NP. You need to drive an hour or more but the driving is pleasant. The rooms were large, comfortable, and very clean. The restaurant was excellent. The Onsen was also for use by the public up till 9 or 10 pm but was quite spacious. We liked this place very much.”

“Stopped here out of curiosity and for a break midway through a 2 week train trip around Hokkaido. Very quiet and not much going on in town - shochu producer on edge of town worth a visit, with tasting. Onsen very relaxing and food first class. Would highly recommend it for a rest. Staff were brilliant - it was raining and some time after checkout to our train - hotel staff called us back in to the hotel rather than us get wet - waited in reception and one of them gave us a lift to the station in time for our train. :)”
