- Please note that the hotel is located on a traffic-free island. It can be reached by ferry from Biel and other places around the lake, as well as by the hotel’s private boat (available on request).<br><br>Guests arriving by car can park next to the ferry port in Erlach, the nearest village (at a cost).<br><br>If guests wish to use the owner´s private boat, they are kindly requested to inform the property at least 24 hours in advance.<br><br>Please note that the restaurant is closed after 18:00 on 25 September and 02 October 2017.

“Romantisches Inselhotel. Nur per Boot oder zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hotel holt einem mit dem Schiff in Erlach ab. Absolut ruhige Lage, toller Innenhof. Morgenbad im Sommer im Bielersee ist ein besonderes Erlebnis. Super Frühstücksbuffet im Innenhof oder in einem Keller mit besonderen Leckereien (gute Wurstauswahl aus der Region und fantastischer Käse). Das Abendessen war sehr gut mit einem Rindsfilet und Risotto. Auch eignet sich das Restaurant für einen ruhigen und romantischen Abend.”
