“The location was great, bed great, pillows great, furniture and carpet very dated. Clean and comfortable.”
“Couldn't adjust the temp of water in shower. Needs to be fixed. Too close to elevator. Noisy. Location good. Liked being by the water”
“Room was very comfortable.....some updates on amenities would make this a better value. Not a traditional hotel experience.”
“I liked the old style architecture throughout and that each room was unique, including a kitchenette. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed.”
“Location. Ambiance of older Milwaukee. Comfortable. Clean.”
“The bed & pillows were comfy. The furniture was a bit tired, tho.”
“The room had a stove and fridge in the room, pots, pans and dishes were included if I wanted to cook. The room was beautiful.”
“I was a first time visitor to Milwaukee so chose the location due to it's proximity to the lake. I thought the city centre was a bit closer than it turned out to be, but with the Veterans shrine and the adjacent excellent art gallery just a five minute walk way, that was ok. Uber tends to make distances to other places shrink to an acceptable level anyway so that was cool. The Harley Davidson Museum for example, would be an Uber ride in my opinion.”
“Very unique, old (but renovated) condo/hotel. Very interesting doors to your room. Had a complete studio for 2 nights. Across from Juneau Park. A nice walk to parks, the River, Rock Bottom Brewery, great eatery called Brunch, theaters. You get a parking card to access their lot which was convenient. We were in the back of the building, so never heard any street noise except for chatter in the hallway. Comfy room, amazing SHAG carpet and nicely done décor and remodeling. Great accommodations for the price, if you don't mind something off the beaten path and not ultra modern.”
“The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and cozy. Loved it!”
