“A great location both for dinner and exploring the historic centre of Heidelberg.”
“Top location in the middle of old town, but also quiet. Very useful to have secure underground garage. Very friendly reception staff.”
“Breakfast was the best we had - eggs were cooked to order and were wonderful! Hotel is close to everything in Heidelberg - we parked the car on arrival and didn't need it again until we left. Very nice courtyard for outdoor dining. Being a brewery is an added bonus!!”
“Fantastic all around. Very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Excellent location! Not noisy, though extremely centrally located.”
“Location on old town, nice view on 3rd floor, friendly staff”
“Athmosphere at the restaurant/brewery. Location.”
“An excellent location in Heidelberg. We didn't try their breakfast; opting instead for some of the fine bakeries in town. The room we stayed in overlooked their Biergarten, which was always teeming with people until closing. The place seems to be a favorite of locals, faculty of the university, patrons of the arts, and the well heeled gentry of Heidelberg. We tried a few of their beers, which were good, but were never enthused enough to try it for dinner as they seemed very busy with the aforementioned clientele. The food looked fantastic, and seemed to be enjoyed by everyone. Very comfortable accommodations. The only issue we had was with parking: We paid for "reserved" parking in their garage, but one night we went out; returned fairly late, and the garage was full. So we parked in the underground garage at the town center just a short walk away.”
“The restaurant! I found the Veal Sausages and fresh pretzels to be first rate, as was the seasonal beer! My room was nicely designed. Oh, the location was ideal.”
“The breakfast was not worth the $12.00 per person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the room was very small. Getting up to the office area was difficult with luggage. The room and the bathroom were very clean, but it was very small.”
“The location was perfect. About a block from the center in one direction. Then less than a block from the bridge in the other direction.”
