“nice and quiet, set back from the road in a Small village with waterfalls within walking distance. Friendly owners and had a great meal in the lovely restaurant below the rooms. Room was a good size with a tv and ensuite. Very competetive rates.”

“The room is small but has everything you need, bed is quite comfy although no mattress cover. It is lovely and warm and was nice having own entrance not through the restaurant. Breakfast was really good with lovely coffee and a nice selection, also you could have whatever time you wanted. Although our bedroom fronted the road we were not aware of any noise whilst in bed. Would certainly reccomend and would stay again. We ate in the restaurant and it was outstanding in quality, choice and value. It was fabulous”

“The couple who run this Hotel are superb hosts and made us feel so welcome, both of them speak perfect English which is very helpful if your French is a bit rusty like mine. The family room we had was ideal for us and spotlessly clean. After a really nice continental breakfast ( With Yorkshire Tea) we had a walk to the nearby waterfall and ruined abbey which are directly behind the hotel. The restaurant dinner we had was fantastic value for money and the food was brilliant. We will be back to stay as soon as we can.”
