“L'Ecume des Jours is ideally placed for walking into town in th evening where there are numerous place to eat. Although we didn't, you can eat at L'Ecume and it looks very nice. Bedrooms are light and airy and the breakfast was very good. We ate it on the terrace. Many good beaches nearby. Also very handy for the ferry to Royan which avoids the trip back around Bordeaux. Plentiful cycle paths if that is what you like.”
