“The location was excellent; a pleasant walk across a foot bridge to the chocolate factory and near enough to walk to the town centre. The rooms were quaint with a simple cabin feel. Our room had a fantastic roof-top terrace with hammocks overlooking the surrounding area.”
“The Lodge is a perfect base for daily tours and offers a great healthy !breakfast, french kitchen and a pool. It is situated just 5 mins from Mindo centre and lets you enjoy nature at first hand. Chocolate muffins are the best, not to mention the wine!”

“After spending two weeks on a farm, we were looking for a comfy bed and an excellent shower with hot water/good pressure and the hotel definitely had both of these things. They also helped us arrange birding and we were very happy with the guide. The hotel is a bit outside town, but it was a pleasant walk and we enjoyed the quiet.”

“Everything! This is the perfect place--a secret slice of paradise. Sebastien and his daughter were simply delightful hosts, and the eco Lodge could not have been more relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious--fruit, homemade bread and artisanal jam, local honey, juice, yogurt, granola, eggs, and cafe con leche. The pool is blue with hummingbirds flitting thru the air, and the complex is charming and elegant in its simplicity and sophistication.”
