“In the tiny town of Alcalá de la Jovada we've found a wonderful place to stay. We had left our 3 children with grandma and had a time-out for the two of us. The place appeared typically Spanish and we felt welcome from the first moment. The people in charge were extremely nice and helpful. Eating was a bliss! Not only the wonderful Spanish food cooked by Inès but also enjoying it in the cute patio full of flowers. The people have been more than polite and very helpful. If you need advice in English, ask for Inès. The Font D'Alcala is a great starting place for roaming this mountaineous part of Spain. You can rent bikes or e-bikes at the hotel. Even in high season, traffic in this region is scarce and you should be able to enjoy biking. There are lots of small roads and little paths inviting you for hiking or biking. There are several sight-seeing opportunities nearby. Don't miss the cave in nearby La Vall d'Ebo (10 minutes by car)!”
