“Breakfast was "cute"; delivered to the room in a picnic basket. Of course, there was no other place to serve it since there is no dining room or restaurant. The hotel is situated on the main pedestrian walk through Oia and was convenient for walking through the iconic scenery of the old town. As the pedestrian way leaves the village, it becomes a hiking trail leading to Fira with breathtaking views of the caldera and the sea, beyond.”
“Great location, very helpful staff. Nice breakfast - they bring it every morning in a basket - Ideal for honeymoon. Very comfortable room, we had 2 bedrooms, but be aware that is better suits for the couple with children than 2 couples (2nd bedroom is more like a guest one).”

“We have just come back from a delightful stay at the La Maltease in Oia. We stayed in the Deluxe suite and cannot say a bad word about it. The view from our balcony was breathtaking over the Caldera and the hotel was situated right in the center of Oia which was great, not too many steps to climb. You do some what share a balcony but to be honest it is like that in the whole of Oia, everyone can see everyone. It is no different to being beside the sea or beach. It you want total privacy then a resort may suit better. Dora, was fantastic, friendly and made our stay even more amazing. The room was comfortable and clean and everything that we needed for a great stay.”
