“The location is just incredible: when coming from Cuneo, you first get to the nice little town Caraglio which is worth stopping by, then you drive through the beautiful Valle Grana, getting higher and narrower towards the end, before the landscape opens up into a beautiful green plateau which reminds you of the Scottish Highlands. La Meiro is an original manufactory. The owner is an authentic character who has the vision and the capacity to move from idea to action. The outcome is astonishing: for the amazing Castelmagno cheese production, the outstanding restaurant, the lavish accomodation as well as the plans for re-inventing Chiappi as a special destination. Definitely one of my best travel experiences. Chapeau!”

“il personale è molto gentile e cordiale, si entra subito in un clima familiare apprezzatissimo da chi come me viaggia in bici solo, gentilissimo il proprietario a darmi una cartina della zona con i vari percorsi ciclistici e due dritte su qualche strada panoramica da prendere. la camera molto bella, curata e ben arredata con una splendida vista. La cucina è ottima, ho mangiato benissimo, anche la colazione abbondante e genuina. ottima scelta che sicuramente rifarò in futuro!!”
