“This place is beyond belief .......... shop, restaurant and rooms are just idyllic and should not be missed by any serious pilgrim. The bird song coming from feathered pilgrims in the courtyard trees makes the start of the day feel like Heaven. Log fire in the restaurant creates a super cosy atmosphere. HIGHLY recommended!!”

The room was huge, and very beautiful, they had a large Jacuzzi tub, which was excellent. The dinner meal was the best we've had on the Camino de Santiago. “A classic Spanish inn where you walk through a large door in a wall and enter a lush courtyard. From there, you'll find a warm welcome from the staff (wine and pinchos), a legitimate gift shop with local products; an outstanding open-air bar and restaurant favored by the locals. The historic structure has been preserved and the facilities updated. Beautiful room with wood beams and rustic feel. AC! Clean, spacious and quiet. Got a great night's sleep.”

“Five years ago I walked into la Moncloa footsore and weary and was so grateful for the empanada and glass of wine I was given. I was enchanted by the little courtyard and would have loved to stay, but had to keep on walking. When we walked into the courtyard again, it was such a joy to recognize the place and once again receive the wine and the pie and then to realize that this was where we were spending the night.”
