“Evacuated during Hurricane Harvey, it was a scary experience but the staff and the pet friendly accommodations made it that much nicer! Thank you for making the rooms beautiful, comfortable and especially pet friendly!!! The dog was on vacation. Us, well, a little more than stressed out but everyone there was so helpful.”
“Room was very clean, fresh towels, nice a/c..pleasant staff.”
“I came in early and was given an up grade because no rooms were clean by 9am.”
“We didn't receive the room we booked and our air conditioner did not work while we were there. After the first nights miserable sleep, the maintenance man discovered that our window was OPEN, and I have a child with autism. I was horrified that he explained to me how it got left like that. I have no thyroid due to cancer two years ago. I got no sleep as we both woke up sweating. Nothing other than a fan was offered and I wasn't going to have a FAN blowing on my baby with asthma, nor would it have done the job. Because the window was left open, our room was full of mosquitoes and gnats. My little girl was covered in bites. I had to go purchase special soap for her and lotion to soothe her skin. It wasn't until we had to stay a third night that they moved us. IMO, the least that could be done is the first two nights covered as a courtesy. We travel a lot and have stay here before. But this was not ok.”
“I had requested the 3rd floor. When I called to check in late, they ask if I really preferred that floor because it is designated for smokers. They cheerfully put us on the 2nd floor. Not a hint of cigarette odor in the bedding or anywhere in the facility. They must wash all towels and bedding separate from the smoking rooms. This is the first hotel we've stayed in that really had it all together. Hats off to engineering, staff and management!!!”
