“The staff was very professional and attentive, ensuring that we were comfortable during our stay”
“Excellent location in a tiny village on a mountain, superb room view, outstanding dinners, although expensive, and one of the best breakfasts on our 2 month holiday in Europe. Fantastic views of dramatic cliffs, distant towns and the winding road up from many places in the village. Some great walks from the village.”
“Beautiful location and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Really enjoyed.”
“The medieval stone village location is stunning. The accommodation was pleasant, but what really makes this place worth a visit is it's Michelin recommended restaurant. 58€ for an 8 course creative tasting menu and we weren't disappointed. Good selection of wines with only a small mark up on retail prices. Even the breakfast had some interesting 'chefy' twists to it.”
“Very nice place on this planet. Friendly and helpful staff.”
“The hotel is located in a quiet village. The location is perfect, and we had a room with views to the mountains, which was really good specially with the sunset and morning light. The room was clean and very comfortable, but I found it a little bit small, but fortunately, we went only there to sleep, as during the day you can stay in the garden and the pool.”
“Environment and staff were brilliant. If it was up to us, the restaurant would receive a star due to the surprise menu and wine list. If you like delicious dinner and beutiful sceneries and are not afraid driving curly mountain roads, don't hesitate coming here.”
“Location location location! Plus personal family touches. Attached restaurant was superb. Mountain views from room were spectacular.”
“Arriving at the property on Easter the area was very busy with campers and local residents coming to see the town. There were traffic controllers who asked where you were going and when they heard La Siuranella directed our car to proceed. Parking is on a narrow road at the entrance to the town but I am not marking it down because this is such an amazing place, it deserves more than a 10. The room overlooked a gigantic valley. The town was ancient and easy to walk. We had a good dinner at the hotel and a very nice breakfast was included.”
“This is a gem of a hotel. Only 6 rooms, all named after grape varieties. The individual tasteful touches made 'Grenache' very welcoming. The restaurant was a revelation; the dinner menu was small but our selections were superbly cooked and presented and we had an excellent local wine, all for a very reasonable cost. Breakfast (included in the price) was wonderful and kept us going all day. The hotel is on the edge of the village, with glorious views and a haven of tranquillity. The staff could not have been more helpful.”
