“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay La Villa Romaine. The room was quite sizable with a king size bed, the bathroom was modern and up to date. The weather was too cool to use the pool; however, we sat outside in the loggia and enjoyed some wine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a nicely laid spread. But, best of all was the restaurant. The food and wine was excellent. One night my husband was not feeling well so the chef made him a soup - perfect for an on-coming cold. Ideally situated for Sarlat and environs.”
“We found it ideal - quiet, secluded, comfortable. Hotel looks authentic, but is absolutely comfortable inside. Good size of the room and bathroom, very clean, airconditioning very quiet yet efficient. Gorgeous swimming-pool overlooking the valley. A two-minute walk from magnificent Les Jardins d'Eau. Easy driving distance from many historical castles and other places of interest. We will deffinitely come back.”
