“The hotel was really well appointed and it looked as if it has been recently renovated. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who looked after us well. We ate at the hotel for both nights of our stay and the food was good.”

“We had a room with lakeview, fantastic! Modern and luxurious bathroom and spacious bedroom. Relaxing and comforting! Helpful and very nice personnel, always a smile ! Beautiful large garden with tables for restaurant and hotel guests. Food quality is outstanding, made with love and care. Breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte only. We could not wish more, we can recommend this hotel.”
“We went for the Valentine's Day lunch which was laid out under umbrellas on the lawn. We had to ask for our table for two to be moved into the shade as there were not enough umbrellas, which was swiftly and courteously done. The hard-working staff took in excess of 3 hours to serve the four courses of excellent food, and clearly there needed to be twice as many waitrons to achieve the task. Food and wine quality was outstanding and the jazz combo from Hoekwil was also very enjoyable and talented. We stayed overnight in a luxury room which was very comfortable with a stunning view of the lake.”

“Wonderful place, the food was world class, the chef is truly talented. They had wine and chocolate pairing too which was fun. The views over the lake are spectacular, it is worth being on the pier at sunrise to catch the best views. There are free canoes and paddle boards for guest to enjoy and the lake is ideal for swimming. They even turned up one afternoon with scones for us to enjoy on our veranda. The staff were lovely too, nothing was too much trouble. The room was luxurious, the food was great, the views amazing. Highly recommended.”
