“A family run guest house. Uli, Peter, Claudia and Herr Prang could not have been more welcoming. Very comfortable place to stay and very friendly. A convenient shuttle service is available to the train and ferry station. I initially wondered about the location, but it caused us no bother at all. In fact it was lovely to be among the locals at the bar at night, and very lovely walks are available up on the scarp above St Goar. It offers a magnificent view of the Lorelei, that had eluded me on previous visits. The meals at Landsgasthof Rebstock were fabulous - breakfast with fresh rolls, among other things, but with homemade confiture to die for. Our meals at night were similarly beautiful, the best of our trip. The highlight of our Australian on their German tour.”

“At first we were disappointed with the fact that the hotel is out of the downtown Sankt Goar, but we quickly realized it was a fabulous find. The rooms were very nice and incredibly clean and the bar downstairs was lovely. The owners drove us down to the castle and again in the morning when we continued our hike. This hotel is a great value for the money....it's nice and incredibly reasonably priced.”
