“Lovely lady at reception. The free pot of coffee and croissants when I arrived. Superb room with balcony to the fields at the back. Lovely and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. A fantastically decorated hotel with a breathtaking attention to detail. All very high quality and standard. The theme rooms have to be seen to be believed. Whoever took charge of this hotel (restored from an orphan's home) really knew what they were doing and did not skimp on investing time and money to get it perfect. Experience for yourself - the breakfast in the "old kitchen": Fantastic - I have never had a better breakfast experience - personally served and nothing too much trouble. I will remember this place with great fondness when I next stand at the "breakfast buffet" at 99% of the other places I visit.”

“Liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Monroe- Suite ist komfortabel und sehr geräumig, mit einer extra abgetrennten Toilette vom restlichen Badezimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem und man hörte keine anderen Gäste. Der Whirlpool und die geräumige Dusche sind Highlights. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.”
