“It was like going back to the oppulence of another century without having to compromise on the luxuries of the modern day. Everything about the place was charming. The greeting was warm and although there was only one choice of each dish on the menu it was exactly what we wanted, and served up with wines that complimented the food. It was all very quiet and we walked around the grounds in the morning and loved it. Highly recommended.”

“We were asked on the booking the expected time of arrival, we said our time of arrival between 2and 3, we arrived at 3 and told to go away until when they opened at 4. We went out to a restaurant for the evening. When we arrived back at 10.30 the doors were locked, we had to ring the owner who then informed us of a back door entrance. The following night we returned at 10 main doors again were locked. No bar, no prices of drinks etc. All in all I would say the chateau was an experience, the staff, pleasant and helpful they were running the place for their convenience not for the visitors. I would not go back”
