“It had a calm family feel to the hotel and that may be because it's in Les Angles and away from Avignon centre. The rooms were clean, fairly spacious and the bed was comfortable. Room service came in every day to tidy and empty the bins.The pool and pool area is very nice, although it's not that big. Fortunately, the pool was mostly empty whenever we went in. La Tonnelle restaurant is an absolute gem if you like good French cuisine and it's attached to the hotel. The chef is tremendous and the 'Market Menu' is a great way to experience great food at a decent price. There is a major bus route at the end of the road (Bellevue is the stop name & bus number 40) and that goes straight into Avignon centre. We didn't have a car, but it didn't matter because the public transport network is so good. We've stayed here two years running and our kids feel really safe & happy staying here.”
