“The owners were exceptional and very friendly. We booked very late on a Sunday yet they were extremely accommodating and provided an excellent dinner. The hotel is exquisite and full of character. The host (chef) is an expert of local foods and armangnac. The menu is limited but excellent using local produce. Environmentally conscious.”
“The chef-proprietor offers an interesting menu, described by ingredients, paired with a good selection of wines. Dining can be on the balcony overlooking the garden. A fine breakfast with fresh orange juice, croissants, pain au chocolat, good bread/toast, homemade jams, fruit and yoghurt. Comfortable wide bed in an exposed stone room on the ground floor, with a spacious bathroom and large shower.”
