“Service excellent. The breakfast was out of the ordinary and they made a point of being a "Breakfast" hotel. The owners were amazing and the cooking and bakery that the wife did was something special, among the best we have experienced, and that goes for the service and cleaning as well. If you want to stay in a calm little Italian village and exploring Tuscany, you are in the right place. The village have an excellent restaurant, Tre Archi, that serves excellent Italian food and have the most friendly personal. If you go here you will of course visit San Gimignano, BUT be sure to visit Volterra, an pearl in Tuscany with ancient history.”

“gezellig hotel rustig gelegen en toch kortbij Volterra en San Gimignano. De hoteleigenaars zijn zeer attent en behulpzaam (hoewel ze weinig engels spreken). Super ontbijtbuffet vanaf 07.30 u met enorm veel keuze o.a. fruit , gedroogd fruit , diverse soorten kaas en charcuterie , vers brood en gebak, verschillende soorten confituur , gemarineerde tomaatjes , champignons en artisjokken enz. Best wordt verse espresso koffie gevraagd ,ander krijgt men een kannetje koffie die echt niet lekker is. De kamer is comfortabel met een goed groot bed , frigo , tv en er is mogelijkheid om thee te zetten. De badkamer heeft een nogal kleine douche voor de rest alles in orde. We hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde (weg van verkeer) met een terrasje voorzien van een tafel en twee stoelen. Gezellig om 'smorgens eens buiten te zitten in de koelte. Ze verkopen ook regionale produkten in het hotel zoals wijn en olijfolie.”
