“Splendid restaurant - it was so good we booked a further night there on our return journey. We will stay there again. It is easy to get to from either motorway, rural peace with a lovely river view, and a truly excellent restaurant. It is worth it for that alone and it is not to be confused with that other phenomenon: the 'hotel's kitchen' - this is the real thing! Moreover, the reception was charming and helpful in every way.”

“After unexpected travel delays, we arrived at the property very, very late in the night and the proprietor was very accommodating of this - we had phoned in advance to warn on the delay and he was most gracious. The room we stayed in was tiny, but super clean, and functional. The property is very well sign posted - luckily because it is set amongst farms with no street lighting. Location is most tranquil and the dining areas for dinner & breakfast are very romantic.”
