“The staff here are very helpful, they will recommend you places to eat or help out with your trip if needed. Additionally, the ancient town the hotel is located in can be confusing and we were kind of lost when we got there. But they came and got us and were happy to show us a way out when needed or directed us where to go. Xiao Hei was the individual who we talked to the most. Note: he doesn’t speak English, my girlfriend did the talking. But the other employee we talked to was Tiffany and she spoke English. Both very easy to talk to and very helpful. 很棒的一次入住体验，酒店很干净，我们的管家小黑给了很多帮助，非常满意哈。”

“The hotel is in great location. Super close to shops and restaurants yet quiet at night. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We like to thank Xiao Hei in particular. He helped us with our luggage and arranged taxi for us to the airport. The room itself is spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay in Liman”

“A couple of the staff had absolutely fantastic English (Tiffany, MK, Dara)! We had trouble with a few of the other staff members not understanding what we were asking (simple questions). The hotel rooms were very nice and comfortable and well appointed. Special mention should be made for 2 of the staff at the hotel who were extremely helpful - Ou Yang and Tiffany. We would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers who are looking for a nice hotel in the old town of Lijiang.”

“Staff was very helpful, not all of them spoke English, though. Hotel is situated in the midst of the old town, not accessible by car, but you are picked up by the staff from the edge of the town, and then brought to the hotel. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, they will carry it to the hotel for you. Rooms were very pretty and clean. Staff made an effort to bond, which few hotel staff members do, we were invited to tea and wine at the beginning and ending of our stay. It felt cosy, and homy.”
