“This is a very good hotel indeed. Nicely and tastefully decorated and all areas and accommodation clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the linen used was good quality. It was easy to park and the location was rural and quiet but within very easy reach of Argenton Sur Creuse and the motorway for the onward journey back to Calais. The evening meal was superb and the best meal we had had on the whole of our 5 week holiday. The chef is to be congratulated. We would highly recommend [do have the evening meal !] and we will return.”

“The proprietor was a bit disdainful but kindly offered us a lead for my dog as I had left mine in the UK. The garden patio is well stocked with seating and hanging chairs. The parking area is large an easy to access. The joining instructions are poor. The rue de Rio does not feature on our GPS system and I had to use the map crosshair to target the hotel. I note that the road does not feature on the map of the village itself. So improved location instructions are in order even though it is just a few kilometres from the A20”

“At first, it looked to us to be a bit dated. But the room was ideal for our needs, and had the most charming little patio. It was absolutely comfortable, and the dinner we had at the hotel was very good. I would go back there for sure.”
