“Great location in town centre. The town and therefore the hotel are close to the motorway so for us a great stopover. The rooms were very comfortable clean and tidy. What was very special was the restaurant which provided traditional French food served with style. Incredible service. The wine was modestly priced but very good quality. A poire William arrived in an iced glass what a treat no need to ask. It is harder to find such superb places in France sadly but here is a classic French hotel with brilliant food. If you are looking for old France look no further. Our greatest sadness was we could not stay longer. Very modestly priced.”
“Overall the hotel was great! Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast for the family. Room was perfect for what we needed - somewhere to rest our heads after a long day's travelling. Superb bathroom, quiet location, but walkable into town centre.”
“Currently, the hotel is going through extensive renovation, which is indeed a bit overdue. Rooms are renovated already, and are fine in a modern basic setting. The restaurant is currently closed for the same reasons, but there is plenty of restaurant options just a 5-10 minutes walk towards the old inner city. Parking is fairly straightforward along the small boulevard in front, and is at a modest meter cost, and free after 7pm.”
“Very warm welcome and comfortable room. A five minute walk along a lovely avenue takes you to the heart of this very pretty and pleasantly atmospheric town. Plenty of parking opportunities in the street front opposite. (Felt very safe)”
