“tandard frontage from the outside , modern refurbed reception although couldn't book in till 2 but receptionist stored the case for us Let in room at 2 very friendly check in , asked for sea view on the booking form and again on check in but got a room overlooking the rear but room very very nice obviously just refurbished , excellent toilet shower very comfortable bed and plenty of electric points , good wifi , room crying out for a few pictures on the walls as plain grey ,and resembling a nice shoe box , good flat screen TV with hdmi socket if you have a tv box , very happy with the room if a little claustrophobic with no view , attached wine bar”
“Check in was nice and easy.Staff were friendly. Lovely modern room The bed had a firm mattress large screen tv tea making facilities with buscuits. Large shower cubicle. Plenty of lighting & plug sockets.Thermostatic individual radiators. Very quiet in the evening. Across the road from the beach and parking. very close to the town centre and entertainment all within walking distance.”
“Reception being manned 24 hours as I arrived on the evening ferry from the Isle of Man and needed accommodation after midnight before travelling to the North East the following day. Good breakfast with the opportunity to have a table with a sea view over Morecambe Bay”
“On arrival, the entrance had a lot of rubbish, which was still there the day of departure. We were placed adjacent to a venue room with very loud noise from a wedding. When I went to discuss this at reception the 2 staff members who were apparently on duty could be easily heard talking and laughing in the office with closed door. It took a number of times using the bell before they deigned to come out. Female staff said "What d you expect, it's not late yet, they will stop sometime". When I asked why they hadn't placed guests who were attending the wedding in the rooms close, she just shook her head and said "Why should we?" Overall appalling, the only good thing was the shower”
