“Stunning building, and such good value for money. I paid less than I would pay for a Travelodge in the south and was so so happy. The bed was very comfortable. and the food for dinner was extremely good. it was amazing looking around the building. Will 100% come back again.”

“Lovely well appointed room, if a little snug size-wise for my 6'4" BF due to the setting (stables courtyard)! One of the most comfortable hotel beds we've come across and the room had loads of character. Very well, and perhaps over heated - no bad thing to be warm but had to leave a window open - in December! When I accidentally left something behind following our stay the staff were able to post it back to me which was so appreciated, with only a little chasing required. Location beautiful and very easy from the A1. Would love to stay again some time. Thank you!”
“The whole experience of Lumley Castle exceeded our expectations The venue itself was amazing in the layout the décor and the ambience! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the medieval dress of front of house staff added to the experience! We had one evening meal in the restaurant and the food was very tasty and the breakfasts were amazing especially impressed with table service Would highly recommend venue”
