“The view is great, overlooking the hills of Serra da Estrela. The pool area takes advantage of the location so it's very relaxing. Pool is quite shallow (around 1.20m high), so no diving. Breakfast buffet has very good & diverse options. The hotel's location also allows it to be really quiet, as there is nothing close by. Rooms were probably refurbished recently, as they have a modern design.”
“This hotel has Beautiful panoramic views and a great outside swimming pool. The rooms were comfortable. Sierra de Estrella had good places to visit by walking. Very good breakfast and a delicius tomato mermelade.”
“Very nice hotel with modern and very clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and they speak english well. There is a pool with a wonderful view over Covilha. Airconditioning is working good and the various bars serve delicious cocktails. The breakfast was excellent. I wish I could have stayed a few more days.”

“Was a little concerned about this property based on some reviews I had read before arriving - particularly with regard lack of maintenance - however on arrival we were very pleased with the hotel and our room which had a huge balcony with fantastic views across the valley - the pool was fantastic - there were plenty of sun beds and parasols and there were always enough available - food in restraunt was very good and staff were very friendly and efficient”
