“Food was amazing for breakfast and especially recommend the evening meal, excellent food at a reasonable price. Nice wine selection very knowledgable hosts. Very clean and comfy everywhere. Home from home, large lounge comfy sofas, nice to watch birds feeding in the conservatory dining area. Lots of attention to detail in the laying of the tables and tableware. Wide variety of fruits ceareals and berries for breakfast as well as a hot menu. Good for people with dogs, they can stay in the rooms also but not allowed in the dining area of course. Oh and the scones on arrival are the best ever!!! A nice base to visit dartmoor and for walking loads to see and vist. Only 12 miles from Tavistock with a bustling market and lots of little shops but a morrisons too if you wish for more. Garage at morrisons too.”
