The reception seemed to be part of a bar, there were lots of cheeky handwritten signs all over the place, the women's washroom had a high-heeled shoe on it, the lobby was inviting for readers, chess players, kids, internet surfers, loungers and diners. The room was spotless, with very cool lighting, very efficient use of space, quiet and comfortable. There was a free shuttle from the airport, and the return was a very reasonable €5. It seemed like a very warm, informal, and inviting atmosphere on the main floor--so different from so many stodgy hotels.”
