“I need not have felt apprehensive after reading through the reviews and seeing some negative comments just before we stayed here. Honestly, I think it was great value for money. Whilst other places may try to rip you off over NYE, this place offered good value for money. You may have to share a bathroom, but it was clean whenever I went in there and for the price, what do people expect? The double room was clean, (although not every day without asking which you are told about at the start), newly decorated and although on the small side, there was a tv, fridge, microwave, sink, kettle and toaster and even a table with two chairs. A hot plate for cooking would've been an added bonus. There's a woolworths grocery store nearby so if you are on a budget trip, you can top up on cereals etc but if not, there are also restaurants on the doorstep. There's also a launderette next door. The location is lovely and really accessible but we tended to walk everywhere since that's how you see stuff! The receptionists were also friendly and helpful, particularly the lady who offered for us to use the reception phone for someone to make an incoming call. All in all, I can't complain!”
