“The attention to detail is wonderful. This is what traveling used to feel like, actual glasses instead of plastic cups, printed napkins in the Copper Cafe and friendly service everywhere. The Madonna Inn is a flea market enthusiast's dream come true.”
“What a quirky place. We were doing the SF to LA drive so stayed in SLO one night, we decided not to venture out as this place has to be seen to be believed. Having said that if you take away the quirky decorations you have a well maintained resort hotel with its own restaurant, café, pool, bar, gift shop etc. The room was comfortable, large and clean and it was good value for money. The restaurant is super expensive but the café is a good place for dinner or breakfast. The night we stayed they had a band playing in the ballroom and dancing which gave it a lovely atmosphere.”

“The novelty of the location was the reason for the stay. We were in the Swiss Challet Room. It was very spacious, clean and on the corner so we only had 1 common wall with neighbors. The gift shop has postcards of all the different room, it was neat to be able to see some other options. Live music in the restaurant provided nice ambiance. The dance floor was quite spacious.”
“Although it should be remembered that Madonna is a unique Inn with various 'themes' for each room... many seemed a little jaded & dated... Dining in a predominately Pink enviroment took a little getting used to.... Reception Staff - First-Class friendly,helpful attitude & service . Overall ...... Interesting but overpriced !”
“The property is like a mini theme park. I loved the individually themed rooms. We didn't get a chance to eat at either the restaurant or the cafe as we arrived late and left early, but the decor was neat! We did get some pastries and coffee to go, and those were pretty good. I did want to try their cakes...they looked so good!”
“Madonna Inn is a unique magical place to stay. Quirky accommodation and fantasy themed public areas. A wonderful experience. We are already planning another trip. Do not miss the fabulous restaurant and make sure you have the cake for dessert.”
