“After 49 days of travelling in Latin America, my wife finally succumbed to a tummy bug on the night of our arrival at Mama Wasi. She couldn't have picked a better place to recuperate. Our double room with private bathroom was easy on the eye and the ear. Although only two blocks from the topiary marvel that is the Plaza de Armas, the only sound from the street outside our window was the morning chorus of neighbourhood chickens. Roberto and his family plied my wife with cocoa tea and ginger tea, and offers of chicken soup and even did our laundry free of charge. When I inadvertently broke our very comfortable bed, in which my wife had been ensconced all morning, Roberto hurried home, arranged a carpenter (offered us a change of room) and my wife was back in bed in under an hour. Roberto also arranged (and rearranged) our excursion to Marcahuamachuco, and how could we forget the pressure cooker of a shower and great coffee. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“Mycket fint och stort rum med jätteskön säng och varm dusch med bra tryck. Varma täcken. Bra frukost med gott bröd, juice och ägg. Väldigt hjälpsam ägare som ordnade transport till Markahuamachuco (rekommenderas!). Bra läge nära Plaza de Armas. ”
