“The only complaint I have was that the rooms were not sound proof. If you're a light sleeper like me, you will be able to hear the guest next door taking a shower or talking. The noise from the nearby gas station and masjid will also affect you. Also, I've stayed at many other 4 star hotels in Istanbul. Mard Inn is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, do not have bath tubs and do not have a tea/ coffee tray. The property does not have a swimming pool, therefore making it a 3 star hotel at most. For this reason, it should be priced lower. The spa in the basement is quite nice and the hotel is impeccably clean throughout. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and there are tons of restaurants just seconds away.”
