“The Location 1 Minute from the Beach was great, also the View For the Sunset & in the morning + its the "Turtle beach" where you can see Baby turtles at some Times of the year. To other Places for hiking/forest it was long time to Drive but With an own Car its no Problem. Breakfast was Traditional Japanese & good. Stuff was really friendly! Bed was comfortable.”
“Apart from the breathtaking, practically private, white-sand spacious ocean beach view, and the Milky Way starlit sky, the following are some notable points for the half-board stay at this hotel: they provide Bento Box breakfast for early morning starts (example: sunrise hiking, early ferry, etc) upon request. They provide strong free Wi-Fi in the lobby area, and a personal fridge (at least for room #1 "shakunage"). You can wash the sand off your feet and courtesy towels await you at the entrance; a nice touch. Management is quick to know your face, room number, resulting in a warm, personalized service. Speaking from my experience, I can still remember the farewell wave in my rear view mirror as I drove long into the distance.”
“Fantastic location on the beach where you could see sea turtles nesting at night, and if lucky also in the evening and morning - which we did! . Nice rooms, that can fit three persons, with spectacular views. Great porch outside for sun bading or just chilling out. We stayed for three nights and experienced one day of sun and calm sea great for swimming, one day of storm and one day of clouds and high sea. Words can't describe the friendliness of the laidies running the hotel. They were fantastic and communicated well through sign language and google translate (for us non-japanese speakers". Such service and warmth. We're gonna miss them. Fantastic genuine Japanese food. If going to Yakushima I can't see that you can find a better place to stay. Renting a car will make life easier on Yakushima!”
