“In the absence of clear directions and confusion on GPS, we were kindly escorted by the Carabinieri who we asked for directions in the local village; thereafter everything was superb. Very comfortable rooms with excellent bathrooms and showers. But, as everybody else has said, the extraordinary bonus with this Masseria is the restaurant. Dining from the €25 menu (outstanding options that are delivered with passion and care) or the a la carte (which offers an amazing choice of reasonably priced dishes - ended on the day after we left - 16 October) was the reason we would travel a long way to stay here. The pool and other facilities were also good - and well looked after - but it was too cool in mid-October for us to be tempted to enter.”
