“Finding the hotel was easy and the check in process was smooth, even though we arrived early. A short wait in the bar whilst the room was checked and we had our key in the Henry Adams wing. The room was clean, recently decorated, and well appointed. The Bose bluetooth speaker worked well with my phone, though connecting was a bit of trial and error so instructions may have helped. The shower in the morning was fantastic. All in all a lovely place to stay.”

“There are lovely touches in the rooms such as The White Company toiletries, coffee machine and liqueur. The lounge areas are snug and homely with large open fires. Very quiet at night even though we were on a ground floor room. Hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely walks around.”

“Wonderful location, friendly and accommodating staff and a lovely warm cosy ambience, specially with log fires in the snug and in the pub. It's a wonderful place with characterful rooms and a massive comfortable bed! My only minor gripe is that the toast at breakfast is soggy. Otherwise it's a prefect weekend away.”
