“Room had A/C, was very large with veranda outside with beach chairs. The hotel is right on the beach and has a pool. Food was fairly priced. Bus stop is right outside the front gate, you take the 118 -Matemwe bus from Stone Town costs less than $1, not very comfortable, taxi is $25-$30 and can fit 6 people.”
“The rooms were fantastic -the maids made beautiful designs with flowers and bedding each morning, and prepared the bedroom for sleep each night. The room was always spotless. The pool and beach area is comfortable. Breakfast is fine. Warmer in the morning, quite windy in the afternoon! The beach is least seaweedy in the morning, so worth hanging out there earlier in the day. Free tea and coffee all evening - the way to an Irish families hearts! Wifi is ok - intermittently works!”

“Good to have a swimming pool as you couldn't swim or in the sea most of the time due to low tide. Atmosphere was quiet and laid back. Staff were friendly. There was a dive centre and they arranged snorkelling trips. Homemade bread for breakfast was good. Owner arranged a good tour of Stone town”
